Eagle painted murals long before he poured his first floor, and he still works like a painter. Pigment moves through wet resin under his hands until the room has a floor nobody else in Riverside owns. Diamond preps the concrete underneath so the painting stays put, and if you feel like picking up the tool yourself, you are welcome to.
A Floor Eagle Paints Exactly Once
Metallic epoxy is the closest thing we have to a canvas the size of a room. The resin carries fine metallic pigment, and while it is still wet Eagle drags and cuts through it to build veins, pools of light and deep shadow. His mural years, including international projects, taught him how color reads across a big surface from the far side of a room. That is the eye he brings to your floor.
Contrast painting is what sets his floors apart from a standard metallic kit. Working a darker or brighter pigment into the pour gives the surface a depth that looks almost carved when light hits it at an angle. The green and silver swirl in this photo happened one time. The next floor will go somewhere else.

Picking Colors Under Hard Inland Light
A color on a sample board and that same color across a Riverside floor at four in the afternoon are two different animals. Strong inland sun pours through windows and open doors, and metallic pigment reacts to every bit of it. A silver that looks quiet at breakfast can flash bright by late day. Deep blues and blacks gain drama in direct light and turn moody once the blinds come down.
So the design talk happens in the room itself. Eagle looks at which way the windows face, how far daylight reaches across the concrete, what the walls and furniture are doing, and how you use the space after dark. Then he sets samples down where the light actually lands, and you look at them at the times of day you live there.
We also ask what you want to feel when you walk in. Some people want calm. Others want the floor to be the loudest thing in the house. That answer steers the palette more than any trend does. A few clients show up with a photo they saved years ago, and some bring one color they love and hand Eagle the rest. Both starts work fine.
The house brings its own backdrop, too. Warm wall colors, tile and dark wood all change how a metallic reads beside them, so we test samples against them before a color is picked. The white and silver floor further down this page sits against wood paneling, with one thin gold vein.
Yes, You Can Hold the Applicator
We bring clients into the design, and sometimes we put the applicator right in their hands. People are surprised by the offer. A few passes of your own through the wet pigment, with Eagle beside you, and part of that floor is literally your work.
Nobody has to. Plenty of people would rather watch from the doorway with a coffee, and that is fine. The offer stands either way, because your floor is your masterpiece too.
Eagle stays at your elbow the whole time, reading the pour as it moves and folding your marks into the larger design so the finished surface reads as a single piece. Metallic resin gives you a short window to play before it starts to set, which is why he sets the pace and tells you when to step back.

What Keeps the Painting From Fading
A metallic floor is only as good as the slab under it. Diamond, the Prep Queen, opens the concrete with XPS-trained grinding, fills cracks, tests for moisture and cleans until nothing loose is left for the resin to sit on. A metallic pour is smooth and glossy, so any flaw underneath tends to show through, and her standard gets even stricter on these jobs.
Timing matters as much as prep. Metallic pigment keeps moving until the resin starts to set, and a hot room speeds that up. On summer jobs we schedule the pour for the cooler hours and keep the space shaded while Eagle works, because rushing that window is how a floor loses the soft, feathered edges that make it look painted.
On top goes a protective coat chosen with Riverside sun in mind. Summers that pass 100 degrees and UV streaming through glass will turn the wrong clear coat yellow. The clear coat we seal with is chosen for the sun that comes through your glass.
Once sealed, every surface we install is waterproof, so spills wipe up and never soak in. We work exclusively with US Resin Supply and Manufacturing products, which give deeper color, better self-leveling and stronger bonding than the consumer-grade material a lot of local floors are poured with. On a metallic floor, deeper color is the whole point.
Living with it afterward is easy. A soft mop and plain water handle everyday cleaning, and pads under chair legs keep the gloss free of scuffs. There is no grout and no seam anywhere for a spill to sink into, so the floor tends to be less work than the carpet or tile it replaced.
